All orders must be paid in full prior to shipping. We accept money orders, cashier's checks, or PayPal. Please make money orders or cashiers checks out to Lawrence Erickson. At the time of payment please provide us with your full name, complete shipping address and telephone number.

California residents will be charged 8.0% sales tax. Out of state customers are not required to pay sales tax.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve an animal for up to two weeks. If full payment is not received within 2 weeks the deposits will be forfeited and the animal put up for sale again.


We consider our prices to be quite reasonable, so the price you see is firm. A 5% discount is provided for anyone purchasing 4 or more animals.


After payments have been received we will arrange the shipment of your order. We will attempt to ship the order ASAP, but reserve the right to delay shipping due to weather. Uroplatus in general, and Uroplatus phantasticus in particular do not tolerate hot or very cold conditions. We require someone to be home to sign for the package and unpack the animal ASAP. If this is not possible the shipment can be held at the carrier's office for you to pick up. We can also ship the package to your work address if that is more convenient. Tracking numbers are provided to our customers so you may check the status of your package online. 

We typically ship all animals FedEx Next Day Air, for arrival by 10:30 AM. Animals are shipped in a styrofoam insulated box, and heat or cold packs added as needed. The shipping charge is calculated by the buyers zip code, which includes the cost of the box, heat packs, and shipping fees.



We guarantee live delivery as long as someone is present to sign for the package as arranged. We cannot guarantee live delivery of a shipment that has sat on a hot or cold porch for hours. In the unlikely event the animal arrives dead, ill, or damaged please contact us immediately and photograph the animal on the shipping box showing it's distinguishing characteristics. We will attempt to replace the animal or refund your money if a replacement is not available.

We guarantee animals are healthy, eating, and sexed properly (unless sold as unsexed or possible). If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your shipment. If you elect to return your shipment you will be responsible for the animals and all expenses required to properly and safely return the animals. 


We have a minimum order of $250.00 that does not include the shipping fee.
